Big Brother Africa prides itself as The biggest reality show in Africa. Yes indeed it is one of the biggest reality Tv shows that the African Satellite channel – The AfricaMagic produces. Big Brother Africa 2013 is the BBA Season 8 and has been dramatically titled The Chase.

Big Brother Africa 2013 has 28 housemates from 14 countries who would not only be chasing after the 300 000 USD cash prize but the chance of becoming a household name and perhaps even finding romance. – Ok wait a minute, “finding romance

With the last bit said, it raises a Deep and big question on the minds of many:

“would this be the reason why the 2013 edition of the Big Brother African is almost turning into a soft p-o-r-n?”

One wonders what must have been at the back of the minds of some of the contestants that is making them misbehave and throw caution to the winds. This and many more has lead one concerned African to write this Open letter to DSTV, the Station behind Big Brother Africa.

Open Letter From African Youths To DSTV on Big Brother Africa.

Big Brother Africa 2013

On behalf of ALL African Youths, the people who are the Leaders of tomorrow, who do not want to make the same mistake as their Fathers and Fathers fathers; I urge and plead with All Africa Youths to rally round and let’s in oneness, ask DSTV to give Us a Big Brother Africa show (BBA) where African Youths would go and have concrete discussion and proffer solution towards solving Africa’s Problems.

We want a Big Brother Africa Show that would not be a place where morally loosed singles/single parents who can’t in real life keep their relationship go into the Big Brother Africa house to show their fallen breast, display their drug addicts and habits, show their flesh as if they are p-o-r-n stars , no mannered people mix up and get rewarded.

Habba! Having s-e-x in the glare of the public with someone who is not your spouse? God have mercy ! If care is not taken, this may be the last of this (useless) program.

The demon of sexual immorality has etched its ugly head into the Big Brother Africa show, hence the next sane option is to nip the programme in the bud.

I guess that the Big Brother Africa Series 8 2013 is gradually becoming a place where immoral behaviour are heavily rewarded, hence the kind and type of  it is aiming to attract and has been attracting. Most of these people even prefer open s-e-x everyday.

Youths of Africa and friends of Africa, let me ask:

  • What exactly are we learning or are expected to learn from the Big Brother Africa programme?
  • Does it mean that this years edition is all about the promotion of s-e-x and immorality.
  • It it not time we all stand up in one voice and  ignore and speak up against it, for what it’s worth.
  • How long does it take to imbibe a habit? 21 days?

Big Brother Africa TV Show runs for 90 days, subtly making people addicts to bad habits. Say No to TV shows without value!

Remember that Reality shows with immorality is a No No. Lets save the mind and image of the African Youth!!!!

    Nigerian Politicians: 24 hours = $300,000.
    Graduates: 100 years = $300,000.
    Arm robber: 10 munites = $300,000.

" choose Your Career wisely". Happy weekend.

  2. Its very funny how these programs engage you so much, because all you will be doing would be to try and see what next the person wants to so.
Well, if the Program has a better concept of bringing in "Industrious minds", academics, great intellectuals and make them site, eat and discuss matters, it would have been better.

  3. If our people will start reasoning like this, then d long expected positive change we desire if not far fetched. Bba is an evil wind that will blow no one any good.
Nija people let us continue to demote this evil reality tv show.
God bless you as u adhere

  4. About time someone shares in my sentiments. It beats my imagination that highly regarded fellows will sit for hours watching a group of adults gossip, cook, fight, curse and display immorality….and they are heroes, role models and celebrities in their countries. Watching that programme was enough reason for my friend to send her wife packing

  5. God bless u. the world is experiencing so much obscenity yet a show on tv still promotes sexual immorality, we should say NO to bba n every other show that applauds such. I call them shows of shame.

  6. OluwaNnamdi Temple-Chukwunyere says:

Big Brother Africa is only but a way to hell. Its really a pity that people sit and watch such. A PITY! Really don't know what to say, but because of money people embrace such immorality. Mmmmh!

  7. Thanks Joseph Musa Agwu for this great thoughts!!!

  8. I guess that the Big Brother Africa Series 8 2013 is gradually becoming a place where immoral behaviour are heavily rewarded, hence the kind and type of it is aiming to attract and has been attracting.

The Big Brother Africa is supposed to be a place to proffer solutions, increase learning and a bit of networking and not a p-o-r-n production Centre.

What are your views of the BBA 2013?
